Medical Director and Pain Management Physician

Jason Lewis MD

Dual Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

Dr. Lewis is certified by the American Board of Anesthesia in Anesthesia with a subspecialty certification in Pain Medicine and holds a Kentucky and Indiana Medical License. Dr. Lewis earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Louisville in 2004 and has since completed a General Surgery Internship, Anesthesia Residency, and a Pain Medicine Fellowship. Dr. Lewis is a Diplomat of the Board of Anesthesia, and member of American Society of Anesthesia, Kentucky Society of Anesthesia, American Medical Association, Greater Louisville Medical Society, and Kentucky Medical Association. He has worked as a faculty member at the University of Louisville’s Department of Anesthesia and as a Staff Physician/Pain Medicine Liaison at a major hospital. Dr. Lewis also has his private pilot’s license and is an FAA aviation medical examiner.

Rodney Miller MD

Dual Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine

Dr. Rodney Miller brings a wealth of expertise and compassion to his role as a physician at Commonwealth Pain & Spine. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology, demonstrating his early interest in understanding the complexities of human behavior and well-being.

Continuing his educational pursuit, Dr. Miller obtained his Doctor of Medicine from Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School, where he honed his passion for healing and patient care. Dr. Miller completed a rigorous residency program at Rush University Medical Center and West Suburban Medical Center, where he gained invaluable experience in providing comprehensive care to patients.

Throughout his career, Dr. Miller has demonstrated a dedication to patient-centered care and a commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements in medicine. His compassionate approach and unwavering dedication to his patients make him a trusted partner in their journey toward improved health and well-being.

Pain Management Physician

William Hudson MD

Dual Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.

Dr. William Hudson, M.D. brings a wealth of expertise to his role as a pain management physician at Commonwealth Pain & Spine. Grounded in a solid foundation of academic achievement, Dr. Hudson earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Murray State University, where his passion for healthcare and healing began to flourish.

Continuing his education, Dr. Hudson pursued his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. Following his medical degree, Dr. Hudson embarked on an internship at West Virginia University's Department of Anesthesia.

Dr. Hudson further honed his skills and expertise through an anesthesia residency at the University of Louisville, where he distinguished himself as a dedicated and compassionate physician. Throughout his career, Dr. Hudson has held esteemed positions, including Assistant Chief of Anesthesiology and President of Medical Staff.

In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Hudson has contributed to research exploring the relationship between chronic pain and depression.

Dr. Hudson's compassionate approach to patient care, combined with his extensive training, leadership experience, and research contributions, make him a valuable asset to Commonwealth Pain & Spine.

Pain Management Physician

Kelby Hutcheson MD

Dual Board Certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine

Dr. Kelby Hutcheson is a highly skilled pain management specialist with extensive training in anesthesiology and pain medicine. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from Tulane University, graduating magna cum laude, before obtaining his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston. Dr. Hutcheson also earned a Master of Science from MUSC, where he completed his anesthesiology internship, residency, and a dedicated pain research fellowship. Further refining his expertise, he completed a Pain Management Fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. Board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, Dr. Hutcheson is committed to providing advanced, evidence-based treatments to help patients manage pain and improve their quality of life.
Nurse Practitioner

Stephanie Tichenor

MSN, APRN

Stephanie is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners & a board certified Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University, Master’s of Science in Nursing from Spalding University & post master’s certification from University of Kentucky. She has over 22 years experience in nursing, with the past 16 of those years as a nurse practitioner in the fields of cardiothoracic surgery, family practice and neurosurgery surgery.
